Sports

Sport and Lifeskills have much to teach us, from teamwork and leadership to determination and tactics. They teach us how to be magnanimous in victory and gracious in defeat, the importance of practice, and the never-ending quest for improvement. Sport primes students to lead, not only on the field, but in all aspects of life.
Our Sports Arena boasts of a Basketball Court, Volley Ball Court, Kho-Kho Court, Badminton Court and Cricket Practice Court.

Development from sport goes beyond learning new physical skills. Sport helps children develop better ways to cope with the highs and lows of life. Children learn to bounce back from disappointment, cope with unpleasant experiences and become more resilient to face the uncertainties of life. Playing sport regularly improves children’s overall emotional wellbeing, too.

At Sanskaar International School, life skill development through organized sports activities is an integral part of a student’s daily routine, whereby every student is encouraged to join at least one sports discipline. We believe in mass participation, exposing our students to a number of sporting events at the School, inter-school/district, zonal, regional, state, national and international levels.
Disciplines Offered
The School offers opportunities to students to excel in close to 9 different disciplines where the child is trained by a number of dedicated coaches. The disciplines currently offered are: Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Chess, Carrom, kho-kho, Cricket, Volleyball & Yoga.
Swimming is not only a rewarding sport but also a survival skill. We lay special emphasis on this skill and all students are encouraged to enroll for the same.
