Interact Club of Sanskaar International School and Rotary Midtown
Interact Club of Sanskaar International School and Rotary midtown, Allahabad organised a JAM competition on Sunday, the 8th of August, 2021. It was conducted by Harsh Patle, the president of the club, Aastha Singh, the secretary under the guidance of Mr. Ujjwal Srivastava and Mrs. Saloni Sidana. The guest of honour was Mr. Saurabh Puri, who is also the former secretary of Rotary club. He was a district level boxer. All the students put their heart and soul in their efforts to shine in this competition. The winner of the competition was Amit Kumar. The second position was secured by Yashvi Raghuvanshi. The third position was a tie between Manas Pandey and Yashasvi Singh. It was a glorious competition where all the participants tried their best to shine.
World Environment Day, 2021
The World Environment Day is observed every year on 5 June. The theme of the World Environment Day 2021 is “Ecosystem Restoration”.
In Sanskaar International School , students of classes 1 to 8 participated enthusiastically by making so many different things as an activity for World Environment Day, like : shoe box bird house, compost bin , paper bag , book holder ,pen and pencil holder etc.
The purpose of the World Environment Day is to spread awareness about the threat to the environment due to rising pollution levels and climate changes , which not only affects the well-being of the people but also hampers economic development throughout the world.
Labour Day Online Celebration, 2021
To celebrate this painstaking effort of the Labour force, the students of Sanskaar International School celebrated Labour Day also called International Worker’s Day on 1st May, 2021 through online mode with great zeal. Labour Day is a reminder for us that these are the real architects of our society, and they deserve their due respect.
Students of SIS expressed their gratitude towards workers by creating beautiful posters, short video clips, designing E-cards, Writing Articles, etc.
We have always believed that it is small acts of kindness that count and we attempt to inculcate that same beliefs in our children.
Talk Show on Health and Hygiene for Classes 1 to 5
A successful school is one that provides a clean and safe environment for its students. In this pandemic time, it has become so important to take care of one’s health and hygiene. So , on 30/04/2021, SIS has conducted an online talk show on the awareness topic: Health and Hygiene.
“Health is wealth”. They both go hand in hand. Good personal hygiene not only enhances our overall appearance rather it is directly related to prevention of diseases and infections. Having a sound body and a sound mind is an indication of good health.
During the Covid 19 pandemic , it is crucial to sanitize and wash our hands and practice good personal and environmental hygiene.
Students were given tips on how they can maintain their health and hygiene through some good practices like;
Hand washing
Grooming the fingernails
Oral hygiene
Usages of handkerchief
Keeping their toys Germfree
Foot cleaning
And many more different points were discussed.
Talk Show on "Learning is Fun" for classes 6, 7 and 8
A talk show for classes 6 ,7 and 8 was conducted on 30 April 2021. The topic of the talk Show was “Learning is Fun”. In this show reasons for having more fun in life were explained that how fun improves our relationships both at workplace and in life, makes us smarter, reduces stress, improves our memory and concentration. Also physical activities balance our hormone levels and make us more energetic and youthful.
In this talk show pandemic covid-19 was also discussed and students were motivated to take it as a challenge and learn from it. students were promoted to manage themselves with limited resources, value frontline workers, spend quality time with family members, alert more for personal hygiene and cleanliness etc.
We made the students learnt to handle difficulties with a positive mind and believe on their own.
EARTH DAY CELEBRATION 2021
The students of Sanskaar International School are celebrating Earth Day. They have participated in some activities to make the people aware of the changing environment and how to protect it. As we are going through this COVID 19 pandemic period, so students have decided to celebrate it at their homes with all resources which they have.
Students of Pre Primary section created posters with small videos and shared their views on Earth day.
Students of classes 1 and 2 have represented themselves as a Fruit Plant, Flower Plant and Show plant and told it’s benefits through videos.
Students of classes 3 and 4 have planted the saplings of plants and shared pictures.
Students of classes 5 and 6 prepared posters on the theme ‘Restoration of Ecosystem’ with slogans.
Students of classes 7 and 8 celebrated Earth Day by doing an activity named ‘Bio-Sketch of an environmentalist.’
Through all these activities students have learnt a lot of things like- usage of plants, global warming, how to save our environment, environmentalist, benefits of fruits etc.
All the students participated very enthusiastically and did their best.
